Kathryn Hauge, our Head of Sales in the UK, brings over two decades of luxury travel experience to her role. With a background in leading travel companies, her expertise elevates the bespoke journeys we offer in Norway. Now based in London, she is conveniently positioned to assist our UK clients with personalized, seamless travel experiences.
With over two decades of experience in the luxury travel industry, Kathryn has built a career designing bespoke, high-end journeys across the globe. Originally from South Africa, she has worked with renowned companies like Abercrombie & Kent, Rhino Africa, and Quintessentially Travel. Her deep expertise stems from firsthand knowledge of Africa’s finest lodges, resorts, and hotels.
Kathryn’s love for travel led her to establish I Found Africa, where her passion for creating unforgettable holidays to Southern Africa, East Africa, and the Indian Ocean Islands came to life. Her journey took an international turn when she met a Norwegian at a friend’s wedding, a love story that then brought her to Oslo, where she lived for four years with her husband and their three “mini Viking” children.
Now based between London and Norway, Kathryn embraces both cultures, learning Norwegian and indulging in local traditions like cross country skiing and enjoying pinnekjøtt (traditional salted lamb). She has a deep passion for Norway’s stunning landscapes, outdoor lifestyle, and cultural heritage.
